SWFL Rockies Summer 2025 Tryouts-May 3rd at Island Coast HS
The SWFL organization will hold a final tryout for 2026 – 2028 scout teams on May 3rd at Island Coast HS. The tryout will feature 60-yard dash, batting practice, and a defensive segment.
SWFL Baseball try-outs are open to all for the 2025 summer travel teams. Please register to attend, cut off date for the try-outs is Friday May 2nd. Spots are limited for summer teams in all age groups.

Check–in: 8:15
8:45 – Stretch and flex
9am – 60 yard dash
9:30 – Batting practice
10:15 – Defensive segment
11:30 – End of SWFL try-outs
The SWFL organization is Nationally ranked and recognized as one of the top travel programs in the country. SWFL plays in the top tournaments around the state of Florida, travels to national tournaments, plays 2-year schools during the fall and holds private camps at D1 schools for the SWFL organization throughout the year. Recent commits from the SWFL program include Florida Gulf Coast, Alabama, Florida State, U Florida, Flagler College, Barry U, Florida Southern, U Tampa, Lipscomb U, Maryville U and many 2-year college – JUCO programs. The SWFL Baseball organization assists, promotes, and actively pursues college baseball opportunities for all players that have the skill level, academics, and desire to play college baseball. College recruitment and placement is a part of the SWFL player fees.

2018 SWFL FALL HS SHOWCASE – Sept 25, 2018
The SWFL Showcase will enter its 25th year as the premier Showcase event for Southwest Florida players. The SWFL Showcase has had numerous ML players play in the event and this year looks even better than ever with 14 players already committed to play baseball in college attending.
The Showcase will start at 4pm with the 60 yard dash and move forward with BP, I/O and a 6:10 game time start. The schedule of events and rosters are listed below. Come out to beautiful Swanson stadium on the FGCU campus and enjoy the future stars of the game.

3:30 – players check in – receive jerseys.
4pm – 60 yard dash
4:20 – National – Navy BP
4:50 – American – White BP
5:25 – National I/O
5:40 – American I/O
6:10 – Game time
