Welcome to Southwest Florida Baseball

The mission of Southwest Florida Baseball – SWFL – is to provide high school players with a quality baseball experience, an opportunity to be seen by college coaches and professional scouts. We want to develop the players on the field and assist them in becoming young men. John Cedarburg, Dave Fore and Bill Skarbek are the original founders of SWFL baseball and have set it up as a not for profit organization. Our board members are Russ Schropp, Glen Carnes, Ryan Horton and Clint Montgomery. All have extensive backgrounds in amateur baseball. SWFL baseball is active in the community by running a fall league, baseball tournaments and clinics, a golf tournament and travel teams in various age groups. Our sponsors are Every Athletes Edge and Carrera Bats. EAE is a nutritional supplement group that promotes a healthy life style through an organic blending of herbs, vitamins and amino acids. Visit their web site at www.everyathletesedge.com and get the edge. Carrera Bats offer high quality wood and BBCOR bats for all age levels.

The Southwest Florida Baseball travel teams have been on the move since 1993 showcasing baseball players for college coaches and professional scouts alike. SWFL will feature travel teams in 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 18U travel circuit and each team will attend 5-6 showcases or tournaments. The SWFL baseball program has garnered numerous National, State and World titles over the years; most recently this past summer the 16U team Coached by Clint Montgomery and Bob Vandeventer collected 3 Championships including the 2013 Perfect Game Memorial Day Championship!
