The SWFL Baseball Fall Showcase will be held on Friday October 13 at Florida Southwestern State College. This Showcase will feature the top talent from Lee, Collier, Hendry, Highlands, and Charlotte counties along with players from the 2024 SWFL Nation team.
At least 10 players who are committed to attending 4-year schools will be representing their High Schools at the SWFL Showcase. Major League stars Shane McClanahan, Michael Zunino, Josh Winckowski and most recently, Thad Ward have played in the SWFL Showcase. In all, 19 former SWFL Showcase players have reached the Major league level. A pro-style workout will precede a 7-inning game with College Coaches and pro scouts in attendance.
The schedule for the Showcase will be as follows:
2 – 2:15 – Check in – uniforms
2:30 – Stretch and flex
2:45 – 60-yard dash
3pm – North BP
3:15 – South BP
3:35 – North I/O
3:45 – South I/O
4pm – Introduction of players – National Anthem
4:07 – First pitch – 7 innings

2023 Fall SWFL Invitational Schedule
The Southwest Florida Baseball Invitational is a round robin event with games being played on Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10. This event will feature travel teams and High School teams in the 2024 – 2027 age groups. Each team will play 3 games. The event will be held at Terry Park in Fort Myers, FL.
September 9-10 – Southwest Florida Invitational
Where: Terry Park – 3410 Palm Beach BL. Fort Myers, FL 33916
Game times: 8:30am, 10:45 and 1pm.
Team fee/Games: $750, 3 game guarantee.

Dr. Dave Fore is one of the founding members of Southwest Florida Baseball, a legendary Coach for SWFL and an avid card player himself. Dave Fore was a man with a vision for a better brand of baseball in the area. A Penn State graduate and professional baseball player, “Doc Fore” played 5 professional seasons with Detroit before moving to Fort Myers to open his Chiropractic office. Along with founding members Bill Skarbek and John Cedarburg, SWFL Baseball has changed the landscape of baseball in the Southwest Florida area through the SWFL Fall High School league, numerous showcases and tournaments and their summer and fall travel teams. Friday July 21, 2023 – Swanson stadium on the FGCU campus
FGCU and SWFL Baseball will be hosting the SWFL Baseball camp on the FGCU campus at Swanson Stadium Friday July 21, 2023. The 1-day camp is exclusively for SWFL and invited players only. The cost for invited player is $150. SWFL baseball is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve baseball at all levels of competition. The camp will feature BP, I/O, the 60-yard dash and Head Coach Dave Tollett’s recruiting talk for all players and parents.
The itinerary for the day is as follows:
8:15 – 8:45 – Registration
8:45 – Stretch and flex
9am – 60-yard dash
9:25 – 10:45 – Batting practice –
10:55 – 12noon – I/O defensive segment
11:15 – Pitcher only report to bullpen
12:15 – Coach Dave Tollett – parents and players recruiting talk.
1pm – Close of camp
